On Wednesday, April 3, 2024 the opening ceremony of Faculty of Data Science was held at the Faculty of Data Science Building of Shimonoseki City University (Lecture Block D). Mayor Maedashimo Seki, who was present as a guest, received a message of encouragement from President, Korea, to 88 new students who will be the first graduates.

In addition, in the self-introduction of each faculty member in Faculty of Data Science, the new students were nervous, but excited about the upcoming lectures and research, and sparked their eyes.
