Consider the theme of development economy

Development economics is a branch of economics that consider poverty reduction and economic development in developing countries. There are many economic issues in developing countries, such as hunger, discrimination, infectious diseases, conflict, child labor, and the environment. On the other hand, as globalization progresses, new technological innovations have emerged in developing countries, making them even more advanced than in Japan. If you look at Japan from a different perspective after learning about development issues in developing countries, you can learn new things. The purpose of this seminar is to acquire the ability to understand developmental economic approaches while reading literature on economic development in developing countries, and to consider the economy and society of developing countries from a broad perspective.
