The second leadership training was held on February 7 (Friday) in 2024.

Leadership training is conducted twice a year for representatives and executives of student organizations (Alumni Association Executive Department, Athletic Association, Cultural Association, Circle, etc.) to learn about the contents necessary for running club activities.

The second time, a lecturer was invited from the Shimonoseki City North Fire Station to conduct an "Emergency Lifesaving Course". For three hours, I learned how to use AEDs, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, transportation methods, and first aid in injuries and fractures.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was divided into six groups, and was actually performed using dolls. I was surprised that two consecutive minutes of chest compressions required more physical strength than expected. The sooner the life-saving treatment starts from cardiopulmonary arrest, the more likely the life-saving is. It was found that it was important to quickly take primary lifesaving measures before the ambulance arrived. In addition, he taught me how to first aid in the event of a fracture using a familiar magazine or umbrella. In the event of a sudden accident in the daily life of the students, I was able to gain knowledge and experience so that they can respond appropriately without panic.

After the course, a certificate of completion was handed to each student, making it a meaningful course for the students.
