On March 2, 2025 (Sun), a ceremony for the completion of the Faculty of Nursing Building (N Building) was held jointly with Shimonoseki City.
At the ceremony, after greetings from Mayor Maedashimo and Chairman Miki, we received a congratulatory address from Chairman Hayashishitaseki City Council on behalf of the guests.
In April, first-year undergraduate students will enter the school and spend much of their lectures, practical training, and research in this new school building.

Following the completion ceremony, we held a lecture and a preview of Shimonoseki City University Faculty of Nursing.

■Commemorative lecture at Shimonoseki City University Faculty of Nursing
For the commemorative lecture, we invited Dr. Mitsuko Ushikubo, Professor of the Graduate School of Health Sciences, Gunma University, and entitled "Training nursing human resources who can understand and do in the community" required by the times-Regional-Completion-Based Nursing Mind-" We had a commemorative lecture.
Approximately 70 people participated, and everyone was listening to the lecture very enthusiastically. After the lecture, a question-and-answer session was held, and the understanding of the theme was deepened.

At the preview, they were divided into multiple groups, and faculty and staff provided guidance while explaining each room from the first floor to the fourth floor.
In addition to the lecture room, many people were able to see the educational and research environment that Faculty of Nursing is proud of, including a bright and open lounge, nursing training room with a large number of high-performance simulators, and Skills Lab.
