I am applying for teaching course certification. However, as a result of the examination by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the scheduled opening time of the teaching course may be changed.

University Faculty of Nursing's distinctive subject multidisciplinary collaborative training

Students will learn the actual cooperation of related occupations in a comprehensive community care system centered on patients and users as a member of the health care team. Beyond the boundaries of training places (wards and facilities), we will learn about the expertise of various occupations related to the health and medical welfare of people and explore cooperation.

People living in the community can continue to live in their own areas as much as possible. To this end, there is a need for human resources who can protect the health of local residents and contribute to the development of the community together.

Shimonoseki City University will open Faculty of Nursing in April 2025 to train such professionals.

  • Have the basic academic ability necessary to learn nursing, and have learning habits.
  • You can listen to people's stories and think and express logically.
  • Being interested in people and society and building good relationships
  • Aspiring to become a nursing profession and learn with coordination.

  • Sanden Bus No. 3 (approximately 20 minutes ride), get off at Yamanota bus stop, 4 minutes walk, get off at Daimachi 2-chome bus stop and walk 2 minutes walk.

  • About 20 minutes on foot
From JR Shin-Shimoseki Station (Shinkansen / East Exit)
  • Take the Sanden Bus No. 1 bus stop (approximately 15 minutes), take the Kawanakayutakamachi Line, and get off at the university town 2-chome bus stop and walk 2 minutes.
