Currently, electronic resources (e-books, e-journals, databases, etc.) contracted by Library of Shimonoseki City University will be available from outside the university.

■OpenAthens (OA) authentication
OpenAthens (single sign-on) is an authentication tool for utilizing the electronic resources contracted by the library.
If you log in first, you will be able to use it seamlessly with different electronic resources.
For information on electronic resources using OpenAthens authentication, please refer to the Library of Shimonoseki City University website.
Please note that some electronic resources can be used only on campus or through original authentication.

■How to set a password
First of all, the following authentication screen will be displayed after clicking on the subscribed electronic resources and OpenAthens banner, so please set a new password from "Problems sign in?" in the frame. If you forget your password, you can set it in the same way. Username is the personal e-mail address given by the university (****@shimonoseki-cu.ac.jp or **@eco.shimonoseki-cu.ac.jp), so setting from other e-mail addresses is not possible.
