How to find materials

    Could you tell me how to find a book?

  • A

    You can search for OPAC (collection search) to check the collections of our library.

    OPAC

    Enter the content you want to find in the "Book name" or "keyword" and press "Search".
    Click the title of the book you want to see, and you can check the detailed information.

    [Listing Destination] Check the location of the book, such as the reading room and the student selection section.
    [Billing Symbol] It will be arranged in the order of arrangement.
    ・The numbers in the first stage are arranged in the order of 000 ⇒ 999.
    ・The second row of Roman letters are arranged in the order of A ⇒ Z.
    First of all, we will find numbers and then look for them in alphabetical order.

    I can't find the book I'm looking for.

    ■ Is there a place to arrange?
    There is no book that reads the book "library" in the "reading room". First of all, please check the distribution destination (corner).

    ■ Don't you be on loan?
    If the "material status" is "Lending", it is not on the bookshelf.
    If you want to borrow immediately after returning it, you can make a reservation.

    ■ Is it an economic book?
    Our university has a lot of economic books. There are many books of the same category, so try to find them below the decimal point.

    ■ It may be placed in a slightly off place.
    The staff will also be looking for it, so please let me know.

    What is an archive?

    There are the following archives as well.
    1. Archives … You can fill in the "Request for Search in the Library" and enter inside and search. There are books, magazine back issues, newspapers (for the past year), etc.
    2. Content archives … Only faculty and staff can enter. There are bulletins, foreign magazines, reference books, etc. When using the service, the staff will take it out, so please contact the counter.
    3. New Arrangement Library … Only faculty and staff can enter. When using the service, the staff will take it out, so please contact the counter.

    Could you tell me how to borrow a book?

    Please bring your student ID card and the book you want to borrow to the counter.
    If you forget your student ID card, you will not be able to borrow it.

    How many books can I borrow?

    Students usually borrow 4 books for 2 weeks.
    4th grade only 4th grade 4 books 1 month
    Teachers are 50 books and 6 months

    You can borrow other than the latest issue.

    Can I borrow audio-visual materials such as DVDs?

    DVDs are not available. Please use it in the museum.
    CDs, CD-ROMs, etc. attached to the books can be borrowed.

    Please return it in one of the following ways:
    1. Please bring it to the library counter.
    2. Please mail it to the book return box installed at the front entrance of the main building on the first floor.
    ※Items with fragile materials such as wet books and CDs cannot be posted in the return box. Please be sure to return it at the library counter.
    ※Please note that return processing is completed on an opening, the following day day of the mailed day.

    I've passed the return date.

  • A

    If you return after the return date, you will not be able to borrow a new amount for the excess days.
    ・If you are late for 30 days, you will not be able to borrow more than 30 days
    ・If you are overdue for 60 days, you will not be able to borrow up to 30 days and admission on 30 days

    I'd like to extend the book.

  • A

    Please come to the library counter with your book and student ID card.
    It can be extended only once. Books with special strips and books with reservations cannot be extended.

    I can't return it by the deadline because of injury or illness. What should I do?

    Can I make a reservation for a book?

    You can search for books and make reservations for books that are being borrowed by the following way. (On campus students only)
    1. Fill out the application form and submit it to the counter.

    I'd like to order a book from another university.

    Materials not owned by our university can be borrowed from other organizations. Please contact the library counter.
    In the case of actual borrowing, the shipping fee for round-trip will be borne by the client.

    You can order papers and magazine articles from other institutions. Please contact the library counter.
    In the case of actual order, the copy price, shipping fee, transfer fee, etc. will be borne by the client. In addition, the scope that can be copied is subject to copyright and the provisions of the other party.

    I want to use a library from another university.

    In order to use a library from another university, you will need to contact the other library in advance and a letter of introduction. We also issue such advance notice and issuance of a letter of introduction, so please consult with our library about 2 weeks to 30 days before the date you want to visit.

    Can I bring my own computer and use it?

    You can do it. You can connect to Wi-Fi on campus. If you need to use a keyboard or use power for a long time, please use the PC room seat on the third floor.

    Do I need to apply for the library?

  • A

    ・If you only use the hall on the day, you can fill out the "Temporary Use Application Form" and read the books inside the library and copy the literature.
    ・If you wish to borrow books, we will create a library user ID. Please bring your identity verification documents. It will be issued on the day.
    (Example of ID card) Driver's license, insurance card, my number card, passport, student handbook, etc.

    Is there an expiration date for the library user ID?

    The expiration date is until March 31, the end of the fiscal year.
    Even those who have created it in the past will be newly created after April every year.

    Is it possible to use seats only?

    It is a seat for students to use the university's collection. Please refrain from using so-called seat rentals.

    The book was wet and damaged.

  • A

    Please bring it to the library counter as soon as possible.
    ※If the water gets wet, you can leave it wet without trying to dry it with a dryer, etc., so please bring it to the library immediately. If you post it in the return box, other books will get wet, so please be sure to go to the library counter.
    ※If it is damaged, please bring any broken pieces together.
    ※Items that cannot be restored even if library staff repairs cannot be restored, they will be compensated by purchasing the actual item.
