Example of conversion for university entrance exams
If the results of a common test are as follows:
Japanese language | Foreign language | Mathematics① | Mathematics② | Local history civilians | Sciences① | Sciences②
English※ | Number of IA | Number of IIBs | Japanese History B | Modern Society | Biotechnology and Chemical Foundation | Organisms
130 | 140 | 70 | 40 | 80 | 50 | 60 | 30 |
Converting 74 points + listening 60 points (74 points x 1.4 + 60 points x 0.6) Refer to the [Socation, etc.] column below
If you take the first half-year method ...
Japanese language | Foreign language | Mathematics① | Mathematics② | Local history civilians | Sciences① | Sciences②

English | Number of IA | Number of IIBs | Japanese History B | Modern Society | Biotechnology and Chemical Foundation | Organisms
130 | 140 | 70 | 40 | 80 | 50 | 60 | 30 |
Total = [Japanese language] 130 points + [English] 140 points + [Number IA] 70 points + [Japanese history B] 80 points = 420 points / 600 points
If you take the first half of the first half ...
Japanese language | Foreign language | Mathematics① | Mathematics② | Local history civilians | Sciences① | Sciences②

English | Number of IA | Number of IIBs | Japanese History B | Modern Society | Biotechnology and Chemical Foundation | Organisms
130 | 140 | 70 | 40 | 80 | 50 | 60 | 30 |
Total = [English] 140 points + ([Number IA] 70 points + [Japanese History B] 80 points) x 1.5 = 365 points / 500 points
To take the middle term (Department of International Commerce)
