As a higher education institution, universities have contributed to the development of human resources who will lead the future of the region. In addition, in recent years, it is expected to play a role in contributing to solving various regional issues such as industrial promotion and community revitalization.
This symposium looks at the potential of universities for regional revitalization. President, Toyohashi University of Technology, will give a lecture on the first part of the meeting. In the second part, researchers working on regional issues at the forefront will discuss how universities can play a role as regional think tanks.
