Shimonoseki City University has established an international student tutor system to support the learning and life of new international students.
For new international students, an international student tutor is like a close friend or family who can consult first when they have a hard time or trouble. It is also like a consultant who can rely on.

Main role of international student tutors

International student tutors have a wide range of roles to support new international students.

Preparation Study and Research for International Students, such as review and advice on how to take courses. (Study support is the center of international student tutor activity, and the most important role.)
Help international students improve their Japanese language skills.
Supporting the daily life of international students.
