International Student Tutor System
Shimonoseki City University has established an international student tutor system to support the learning and life of new international students.
For new international students, an international student tutor is like a best friend or family who can consult first when it is difficult or troubled, and when you make a procedure at a city hall or contract for a mobile phone, etc. It is also like a consultant.
The main role of international student tutor
International student tutors play a wide range of roles to support new international students.
- Provide direct support for international students' learning and research, such as preparation review and advice on how to take the course. (Learning support is the center of international student tutor activities and the most important role.)
- Help international students improve their Japanese language.
- Support the daily life of international students.
