New tuition and study support system

New system for study support for higher education

※This program is not applicable to international students and graduate students.

This is a system based on the Act on Support for Study at Universities, etc., which provides scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization and university entrance fees and tuition reduction for undergraduate students (excluding international students) of households exempt from residence tax and similar households.
Undergraduate students who have been selected as recipients of the Japan Student Services Organization are exempt from enrollment fees and tuition fees in full, 2/3, 1/3, and 1/4 in accordance with the scholarship support categories (Categories I to IV).

1.Institutions subject to the new system for studying higher education

The University has become a target institution for study support under the Act on Support for Study at Universities.

2.About the amount of support provided by the new system for studying higher education

3.Targets of the new system for studying higher education

Those who fall under any of the following (1) household standards and (2) school performance standards are eligible for support.

(1) Standards for Household Households

Please check with the Japan Student Services Organization's "Advanced Fund Simulator" to see if you are eligible for student support for households exempt from residence tax and households equivalent thereto.

(2) Standards for Academic Performance, etc.

The criteria for academic achievement, etc. are as follows.
However, even if this standard is met, it will not be eligible for payment if the academic performance, etc. during enrollment falls under “abolished” in the standard of academic performance in eligibility.

 ③In the future, he has the desire to become independent in society and learn with goals to play an active role in society.
  What can be confirmed by plans, etc.
2nd year or more Applicable to any of the following 1 or 2
 ①Belong to the top 1/2 of the subjects in which the GPA is enrolled.
 ②Targets that have been acquired are equal to or greater than the standard number of credits earned and will be able to become independent and play an active role in society in the future.
  Being able to confirm that you have a willingness to study with the Gaku Osamu Plan
 ※Both GPA and the number of credits earned, which are the criteria for recruitment, are “accumulated from the time of enrollment to the end of the previous fiscal year (previous year)”.
  It is determined by default.
 ※Recognizing that the number of credits is not equal to or greater than the standard number of credits is a disaster, injury or illness or other unavoidable reason
  If possible, even if the number of credits earned is less than the standard number of credits, students must be motivated to learn.
  If you can confirm it, you will meet this standard.

4.About application procedure

To apply, please attend the briefing held by the university and receive the application documents, etc., and submit the application documents by the specified date. Each briefing will be announced on the university website and on the bulletin board in Student Support Division, so please check it regularly.
