I go to university for about 1 hour and 30 minutes each way by train and bicycle. When there is a first period, you have to leave the house at 6:50 or you can not return home with empty frames, but I think it is the merit of home students to rely on parents in terms of life.

I think one of the attractions of City University is that it is easy to make friends. In particular, English classes are divided regardless of department, so it is easy to make friends with people from other departments. I play volleyball in the gymnasium with my friends on the empty top.

Originally, I went to Department of Public Management as a civil servant, but now I am thinking about getting a job at a private company after listening to the graduates. The high employment rate is also one of the attractions of City University. I am engaged in two activities: the Valley Club and the Co-op Student Committee New Student Supporter. Sometimes I think I'm busy, but I'm trying as many things as possible to make sure that no matter what occupation I have. I think college students can do a lot of things I want to do. Students are encouraged to try what they want to do!

I went to the university by bicycle from Hatabu Station. I'm going to school at home early in the morning, so it's time shorter by bicycle! The wind is strong in Shimonoseki, so be careful!

Living alone

Get out of the local area and broaden your horizons in a new place

I had the option to go to a local university, but I went to Shimonoseki City University to gain various experiences and broaden my horizons. When I actually started living alone, I realized very well how I was blessed so far. I am very grateful to my parents. Housework, such as self-catering, washing, and cleaning, is really difficult, but I think this is also an experience and I do my best every day. I often use the university cafeteria on weekdays, but I also cook on holidays. Well-made rice is stir-fry made with vegetables and meat!

I chose Department of Economics because I wanted to learn about the flow of money and the structure of society, but in fact I haven't been able to decide my future course, so I also choose a teaching course. If you do your best at City University, you can also get a teacher's license. Even if you haven't decided yet, I think that one of the attractions of City University is that there are many occupations you can choose.

Unlike high school, I think the important thing in college life is to manage your own time and move actively from yourself. City University has many kind seniors, so please feel free to consult anything!

I'm cooking at home. On weekdays, I eat at the university cafeteria from breakfast, but on holidays, I work hard to cook myself to save money. The first confidence work is curry.

I'm chatting with my friends on the terrace of the university cafeteria. Since City University is a relatively small university, there are many faces you often see on campus, making it easy to create relationships with people.

I'm studying at the library using empty frames. If you try to get a teaching profession, you will have more subjects. Textbooks also have thick subjects, and we make effective use of time to earn credits.

The 5th class ends at 18:00. In addition to regular classes, it is important to actively move from yourself at university, such as taking extracurricular courses.
