New tuition fees and study support system

New education support system for higher education

※This program does not apply to international students and graduate students.

This is a system based on the "Law Concerning Support for Studying at Universities, etc." This is a system that provides support by reduction.
Undergraduate students selected as benefit scholarship recipients of the Japan Student Services Organization are exempt from the full amount of admission and tuition fees in accordance with the support category (Divisions I to IV) of the scholarship scholarship.

1.About institutions subject to the new system for higher education study support system

Our university has become a target organization for study support under the "Law Concerning Study Support at Universities".

3.About eligible person of the new system for study support for higher education

Those who meet any of the following (1) household standards and (2) standards related to academic performance, etc. are eligible for support.

(1) Standards for households

Please check with the Japan Student Services Organization's "Education Fund Simulator" to find out if households exempt from residence tax and similar households are eligible for student support.

(2) Standards for academic performance, etc.

The criteria for academic performance, etc. are as follows.
However, even if this standard is met, it will not be eligible for payment if the academic performance while attending school falls under "discontinuation" in the academic performance criteria for eligibility.

 ①Being in the top 1/2 range of subjects in which GPA is enrolled
 ②The credits earned are equal to or greater than the standard number of credits earned, and to become independent and active in society in the future
  Being able to confirm that you have a willingness to study with the academic Osamu Plan
 ※Both the GPA and the number of credits acquired are "cumulative from the time of enrollment until the end of the previous year (previous year)."
  Will be judged by
 ※Recognition that it is not more than the standard number of credits is a disaster, injury, illness, or other unavoidable reason

4.About application procedure

To apply, attend the briefing held by the university, receive the application documents, etc., and submit the application documents by the specified date. Each briefing will be announced on the university website and on the Student Support Division bulletin board, so please check it regularly.
