New tuition and study support system
New System for Supporting Study in Higher Education
※This system does not apply to international students and graduate students.
This is a system based on the Act on Support for Study at Universities, etc., for undergraduate students (excluding international students) of households exempt from residence tax and equivalent households, scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization and tuition reduction. This is a system that provides support by reducing taxes.
Undergraduate students who are selected as scholarship recipients of the Japan Student Services Organization will be exempted from admission fees and tuition fees in accordance with the support category of scholarships.
1.About institutions subject to the new system for supporting study of higher education
Gifu University has become a target institution for study support under the Law Concerning Support for Study at Universities.
2.About the amount of support provided by the new system for learning support for higher education

3.Targets of the New System for Supporting Study in Higher Education
Those who fall under any of the following (1) household standards and (2) academic performance standards are eligible for support.
(1) Standards for households
Please refer to the Japan Student Services Organization's "Admission Funds Simulator" to see if you are eligible for student support for households exempt from residence tax and equivalent households.

You can easily find out if you are eligible.
(2) Standards for Academic Achievements
The standards for academic performance, etc. are as follows.
However, even if this standard falls under, if the academic performance during enrollment falls under "abolition" in the standard of academic performance for qualification certification, it will not be eligible for payment.

It can be confirmed by the Gaku Osamu Plan that you have a willingness to study with a willingness to study. ※Both the GPA and the number of credits earned are “cumulative from the time of enrollment to the end of the previous year (previous school year)”. It will be judged by it. ※Recognizing that it is not equal to or greater than the standard number of credits is a disaster, injury or other unavoidable reason If possible, even if the number of credits earned is less than the standard credits, the student must be motivated by Osamu. 4.About the application procedure
To apply, please attend a briefing held by the university, receive the application documents, etc., and submit the application documents by the specified date. Each briefing will be announced on campusmates and bulletin boards at Student Support Division, so please check it regularly.

6.Others
・Briefings on applications will be held twice a year (spring and autumn).
・Even after the recruitment decision, briefings will be held on necessary procedures each time. Please be sure to attend.
・Income and academic achievements are reviewed and reviewed every year, and support may be suspended or the support category may be changed. In addition, if it is abolished, you may be required to return the support money.
・Scholarships are required once a year (April), and procedures for continuing twice a year (July to August, December to January) are required for tuition reduction.
