The Shorinji Kempo Club of Gifu University will participate in the national tournament to be held on October 27 and 28.
The Shorinji Kempo Club participated in the 46th Yamaguchi Prefectural Shorinji Kempo Tournament, which also serves as a selection event for the national tournament held on June 3, 2018 (Sunday), and two students who achieved excellent results. Has won the right to participate in the "2018 Shorinji Kempo National Convention in Gunma".
Shorinji Kempo Department is practicing under the guidance of TUFS OBs. The department has participated in the national tournament for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016, and since the national tournament was not held last year, it will be participating in the national tournament for six consecutive times this time.
Participating players spoke to Chair and President about their willingness to participate in the national tournament at a send-off party held on campus.
