On June 13, 2019 (Thursday), the Public University Open Lecture "Basic Knowledge on Information Security: Computer Viruses and Fraud Emails" was held at the I-201 classroom on the 2nd floor of the University Main Building.

　Prof. MATSUMOTO Yoshiyuki of Department of International Commerce, Faculty of Economics gave an explanation of computer viruses and specific examples of security measures against fraudulent emails. Participants listened enthusiastically to how to protect themselves against threats on the Internet caused by using information devices that are indispensable for daily life, such as personal computers. . In addition, many questions were asked, and it was a very fulfilling course.
