On October 17, 2019 (Thursday), at the I-201 classroom on the 2nd floor of the main building of the University, the Open Lecture "First ancient document-Learn how to read collapsed characters and decrypt historical materials" was held.

　Hitoshi Sanshina, a lecturer at Department of International Commerce, Faculty of Economics, explained how to read the collapsed characters, and explained the characteristics and collapsed characters of historical materials. Lectures were held in an interactive format and explained while showing materials from ancient documents. The students listened eagerly and listened to the notes. The first ancient document course will be held four times until December 5 (Thursday). Students will prepare and review for the next lecture, and will take a practical training course to learn how to read collapsed characters.
