During the lunch break on October 2, 2019 (Wednesday), an alcohol harassment workshop was held on the theme of "Alcohol and Health". Approximately 80 people, including representatives of circles and student groups, participated, with Dr. Kakudai Miyazaki of the Health Promotion Division of Shimonoseki City Health Department as a lecturer.
Students learned basic knowledge about alcohol and the dangers of underage drinking, and raised awareness about the prevention of alcohol harassment and acute alcohol poisoning. In addition, we deepened our understanding of the prevention of alcohol incidents and accidents through cases of accidents caused by acute alcohol poisoning among university students nationwide and alcohol harassment risk checks by self-checks. Participants will take the learned content back to each circle and share it.
- At the beginning of the course, the death case of a college student due to alcohol was introduced, and the tension was raised over possible incidents.
- The participants took the training seriously.
- I learned that it is important for as many friends as possible to have the right knowledge about alcohol.
