On October 21 (Monday), 102 students from Yamaguchi Prefectural Shimonoseki Secondary School (first-year junior high school student) visited the school.
　
Prof. Sekino, Chairman of the High University Cooperation Committee, introduced university education and the characteristics of OIST, and Prof. Mizutani gave a mock class entitled "Karato, Hosoe, and Takezaki." The students listened eagerly, such as taking notes.
　
After lunch at the student cafeteria, we had an exchange with university students.

The brass band and a cappella circle performed as an introduction to the activities of the student circle. It seems that the atmosphere of a university circle different from junior high and high school club activities, such as the laughing inside the venue during the MC between them was conveyed.

During the roundtable discussion with TUFS students of Shimonoseki Secondary School OB, there were explanations about past memories and university life, as well as various questions about them, and the roundtable discussion was exciting.

Finally, we visited the facilities on campus and the students returned home. I hope that a day at university will be a valuable experience.
