　Shimonoseki City University has decided to cancel the 55th Diploma / Degree Award Ceremony.

We planned to reduce the time required for the ceremony and reduce the scale of the ceremony, but in light of the current spread of COVID-19 in various parts of Japan and the view of the government's expert meeting on countermeasures against COVID-19 infection that young people with very low rates could play an important role in the spread of infection without realizing it.

　Considering the feelings of graduates, graduates, and parents, it is a gut feeling, but please understand that we have made such a decision with the highest priority given to ensuring safety of everyone. Thank you for your understanding.

　In addition, the 59th entrance ceremony scheduled for Monday, April 6, 2020 will be posted on this site as soon as it is decided, based on the future situation etc.
