On May 28, 2020 (Thursday), Panex Shimonoseki Plant, which manufactures long life bread in Shimonoseki City, provided long life bread for students of our university.
As the name suggests, Long Life Pan is a bread that can be stored for a long time, and it was a great support for students who are forced to restrict part-time jobs and outings due to the influence of COVID-19.
We received more than 500 long-life breads in 26 boxes in cardboard boxes, and distributed them to residents of the University Student Center and SCU International House during lunch breaks on May 28 and 29, and started distributing them to students who have entered the school for various procedures and job hunting activities from May 29.
The student who received the bread said, "I am relieved that there is a lot of bread that lasts a long time," and an international student from Turkey who said that he tried bread immediately said, "Blueberry jam bread was particularly delicious. The croissant also tastes nostalgic.”
The students will be notified to Panex Co., Ltd. with a letter of appreciation at a later date.
The distribution of bread on campus will end as soon as the bread runs out.
