#Open LectureCitizen's University Open Lecture "Career Formation of Newcomer High School Students" has been launched
On July 6th (Wednesday), an open lecture on the Citizen's University Open Lecture “Career Formation of Newcomer High School Students: Initiatives at Public High Schools in Osaka and Kanagawa” was held online.
Professor ISHIKAWA Tomoko, a specially appointed professor at TUFS City Mirai Creation Strategic Organization, introduced the number of newcomer students who have moved to Japan due to family circumstances and other factors.
In the course, a workshop was also held on the assumption of "support for newcomer students who have just arrived in Japan in September and do not understand Japanese and are preparing to take a Japanese high school six months later." Participants actively exchanged opinions on the support they wanted, and it was very fruitful.
This is the last public course open lecture in the spring semester of 2022, but we plan to continue offering open lectures in the fall semester. We will inform you on the website at a later date. We look forward to your participation.
