On September 29 (Thursday), Kyoto University and Shimonoseki City University held a joint research seminar: Approach to Educational Economics Using Game Theory Methods" was held at Kyoto University and Shimonoseki City University. In addition, a ceremony was held to commemorate the holding of the joint research seminar.
After explaining the background of the seminar, Professor Sekiguchi of Economic Research Institute, KyotoPresident,Chair, the representative of the joint research institute, gave a speech.
At the seminar, Prof. Sekiguchi and Nozu of Kyoto University served as lecturers, and about 20 seminar participants listened to, think and learn the practice of game theory and the commentary of the lecturer.
※Game theory is a discipline that expresses human behavior and decision-making in mathematical formulas and can be widely applied to economics, sociology, and political science.
※Educational economics is an academic study that considers what is related to education, such as the economic effects of education and educational outcomes, and is an area newly established at the Graduate School of Graduate School in April 2021.
