#Open Campus

We held an open campus in August.

The second open campus was held on August 10, 2014 (Sunday).
We were worried about the impact of Typhoon No. 11, but many high school students and parents came. In the distance, there were also participants from Toyama and Kagoshima prefectures. Thank you very much to everyone who came here.

The general explanation began with President Yoshizu's greeting, but with many participants, the largest classroom at the university was also full. It was impressive to see the high school students listening with a serious expression and taking notes.

In this mock lecture, Department of Economics asked Professor Shohei Yoneda's "What is the significance of learning economics?" and Kumiko Hagiwara in Department of International Commerce, "Is business management a money-making study?" Department of Public Management was Professor Takahiro Kirihara's "Comparative Culture Theory of Cities: Taut, Watsuji and Publicity". I think you could taste the atmosphere different from your usual high school class.

This year, students excited the open campus. From preparation for the venue setup, etc., to holding various events such as on-campus tours, tea ceremonies by the tea ceremony club, and live a cappella circle, I worked hard despite the rain. A student from the broadcasting department also served as the moderator of the general explanation.

This year's original goods were "corrected tape with eraser". It seemed that not only high school students but also parents were pleased. Please use it at school or workplace.

The next open campus will be held on September 27 (Sat). The time will be shorter, and it will be specialized in explaining the entrance examination. Details will be announced on the website in the near future.
