Rubber Baseball Team will participate in the national competition.

The Rubber Baseball Club of TUFS will participate in the national competition.

　The Rubber Baseball Club participated in the "2023 West Japan District Student Rubber Baseball Federation Spring I Club League" and won the championship, and decided to participate in the "46th All Japan Student Rubber Baseball Championship". The tournament has also achieved many excellent personal results, such as MVP, excellent pitcher award, and best nine.

　A send-off party was held on August 21 (Monday), and a list of national prize money from the university was handed to Mr. Seiya Ohno (3rd year in Department of Public Management) by the Chair.

　At the send-off party, the Rubber Baseball Club talked about his enthusiasm for the national tournament. Captain Ono said in a chat, "The atmosphere of the team is bright, and a well-balanced and reliable team that will always be active when anyone is here."

　On the same day, the department visited Shimonoseki City Hall and reported to Mayor Shintaro Maeda Shimoseki that he decided to participate in the national tournament. Mayor Maeda gave words of encouragement saying, "I want you to take the name of Shimonoseki and go to the national tournament with all your might." We look forward to playing an active part in the national competition of the Rubber Baseball Club.
