　Three and a half years have passed since the outbreak of Great East Japan Earthquake, which brought about unprecedented great disaster mainly in the Tohoku region. However, more than a hundred thousand people are still forced to live in place of refuge. Also this summer, we are experiencing natural disasters such as torrential rains, including Hiroshima and Fukuoka prefectures. The Shimonoseki City University Society will invite Mr. Toru Suzuki, who is active in the fire brigade of Otsuchi-cho, Iwate Prefecture, to share his experiences with Great East Japan Earthquake and think about the coming natural be prepared for disaster.
