On January 18 (Thursday), a ceremony was held at OIST to conclude an agreement on comprehensive cooperation between Shimonoseki City Board of Education and Shimonoseki City University.

　At the signing ceremony, President, Han, said, "I would like to create a virtuous cycle of human resource development in which the human resources needed in the community are trained at local educational institutions and work for the community."
