The 63rd Shimonoseki City University University Festival “Maguan Festival – Vinculum” was held.

The 63rd Shimonoseki City University University Festival "Maguan Festival-Vinculum-" was held on October 26 (Sat) and 27 (Sun).

The theme of this year's university festival "Vinculum" is a Latin word meaning "kizuna". It was in 2022 that the Maguan Festival, which was once discontinued due to the COVID-19 pandemic, revived. Then 2 years. I will take over what I have inherited from my senior to my juniors this time.

The main stage was set up in SDS Shimonoseki Driving Arena (Gymnasium) this year. On the main stage, dance performances, light music clubs live, rap battles, comedians live, etc. were performed. At the annual bingo tournament of the university festival, the venue was crowded with many spectators for luxurious prizes.

In the promenade open space, which was just completed in the fall of this year, there were many mock shops with circles and seminars. In the eating and drinking space, there were many local people and their families, and we were able to hear that they were chatting happily.

On the night of the first day, fireworks were launched for the first time in five years. The students were overwhelmed by the power and beauty of the fireworks launched directly above.

Through the university festival, people were connected, and "kizuna" would have been even stronger.
