We held an agreement ceremony on industry-academia collaboration education and research between seven companies and Shimonoseki City University.

Shimonoseki City University is working to open donation courses in collaboration with companies under the philosophy of "co-creation with local communities". In addition, as a contribution to the local community, we have been aiming to establish students locally and develop industry-academia collaboration with TUFS by spreading it to the opening of donation courses by local SMEs. This time, we held a donation course with the following seven companies, and held a ceremony to conclude an agreement with the aim of promoting educational and research activities and contributing to the local community.

[7 companies]

・Act Three, Ichimura Kamaboko Co., Ltd. and Ko Pross Co., Ltd.

・Kaikyo Area Management Co., Ltd. and 3in Co., Ltd.

・Medical corporation Matsunaga-kai and Pasona Group Inc.

By teaching university students about the role of regional revitalization played by companies through specific examples of each company, it will be a place for PR for the seven donated companies, and students interested in each company may consider it as career options, and it can be assumed that it will lead to securing potential human resources.

In addition, Shimonoseki City University will be able to provide students with lecture courses in line with actual business regarding the efforts of each company to revitalize the region, and at the same time, it will be possible to expand the range of students' knowledge and experience by providing live classes by business people. We also hope that this will serve as a clue to verify the educational value through industry-academia collaboration.
