Shorinji Kempo Club will participate in the national competition!

　The Shorinji Kempo Department of TUFS will participate in the national competition.

　The Shorinji Kempo Club participated in the 43rd Yamaguchi Prefecture Shorinji Kempo Tournament, which also serves as a selection for the national tournament held on May 31, 2015 (Sun), and was unfortunately ranked second. Based on the results of winning the highest award at the 50th Anniversary Shorinji Kempo Chukoku Student Tournament held on May 5, 2015 (Tuesday), after the selection of the Chushikoku Student Shorinji Kempo Federation, was awarded the right to participate in the 2015 Shorinji Kempo National Tournament in KY by the Gakuren.

　The Shorinji Kempo Club is practicing under the guidance of a university OB, and students who have started Shorinji Kempo after entering university will also participate in this national tournament. This is the fourth consecutive year of participation in the national competition. He has also participated in the national convention in the past.

　Participants reported participation in the national tournament to Chair and President, and paid a courtesy call to Mayor Shimoseki. A farewell party was held at the university.
Captain Hitoshi Kitano said, "First of all, the goal is to break through qualifying. I want to show my juniors a good back. " It is expected to be active in the national convention. Thank you very much for your support.
