Shorinji Kempo Club will participate in the national competition to be held at the end of October.

　The Shorinji Kempo Club participated in the 44th Yamaguchi Prefectural Shorinji Kempo Tournament, which also serves as a selection event for the national tournament held on June 5, 2016 (Sunday), and 11 students who achieved excellent results Was awarded the right to participate in the "2016 Shorinji Kempo National Convention in Oita".
　The Shorinji Kempo Club is practicing under the guidance of a university OB, and students who have started Shorinji Kempo after entering university will also participate in this national tournament. This is the fifth consecutive year of participation in the national competition.

　At the send-off party held on campus, participants expressed their willingness to participate in the national competition to Chair and President, and paid a courtesy call to the Deputy Mayor of Shimonoseki City.
　Captain Taiichiro Yamaguchi said, "On behalf of Yamaguchi Prefecture, we will participate in the national tournament with a signboard of Shimonoseki City University Shorinji Kempo Club. I will be aware of and value my actions and behavior other than the performance. " It is expected to be active in the national convention. Thank you very much for your support.
