Work experience training and internship [classes]

During the summer vacation, TUFS offers work experience training for the first year or more, and internships for the third year or more. This is an educational program for students to experience work at companies and government offices for more than 5 days (40 hours) and make use of them in their own occupations. We have established a system to follow students' work experiences from various aspects, such as pre-learning to set goals and post-learning to conduct self-evaluation based on feedback from companies.

We visited several Japanese companies in Singapore. One of the achievements is that the work experience training has deepened "self-understanding", including one's own strengths and weaknesses. As a result, we were able to determine the axis of job hunting, and we were able to make use of the responsiveness cultivated in actual activities. In addition, taking advantage of overseas challenges, we are now able to act based on positive choices that make our hearts exciting. In the future, I would like to provide many people with services that support someone's challenge and expand the circle of positive emotions to society.

I would like to make use of my knowledge in my future student life.

In the work experience training, I realized that preparation and presentation skills were important. For example, at a meeting, I realized the need for preparation skills in terms of ice breaks, preparation of materials, and image of flow. In group work between job hunting students and Q&A sessions with employees, we also understood the importance of presentation skills, and by demonstrating high communication skills based on polite greetings, we realized that the ease of progress and the degree of completion of creation were completely different. In my future student life, I would like to make use of this experience to participate in high-quality presentations and Q & A session.
