Work experience training and internship [Class Subjects]

During the summer vacation, OIST offers work experience training for the first year or more, and internships for the third year or more. This is an educational program that allows students to experience work at companies and government offices for more than 5 days (40 hours) and utilize them in their own occupations. We have established a system to follow students' work experience from various aspects, such as pre-learning to set goals and post-learning to conduct self-evaluation based on feedback from companies.

In this work experience training, I was able to visit several Japanese companies in Singapore to learn how to work overseas, respect multicultural and multinationals, and overseas strategies of Japanese companies. Above all, I was able to see many of our employees working lively and happily, and I was able to further feel the appeal of working overseas. In my future university life, I would like to challenge anything without fear of failure, like those involved in this work experience training, and work on job hunting with a view to companies that are expanding overseas and companies that are also overseas in Japan.
