Work experience practical training/internship [Course Course]

During the summer vacation period, OIST conducts work experience training for the first year and above, and internships for the third year and above. This is an educational program that allows students to experience work at companies and government offices for at least 5 days (40 hours) and utilize them in their own occupations. We have established a system to follow students' work experience from a variety of aspects, such as pre-learning to set goals, and post-learning where self-evaluation is conducted based on feedback from companies.

In this work experience training, I visited several Japanese companies in Singapore and learned about working abroad, respecting multicultural and multinationals, and the overseas strategies of Japanese companies. Above all, I was able to see many employees working vigorously and happily, and I was able to feel the appeal of working overseas. In my future university life, I would like to try anything without fear of failure, like those involved in this work experience training, and work on job hunting with a view to companies that are expanding overseas and companies that are also involved overseas in Japan.
