"Thinking about the role of universities for regional revitalization from Shimonoseki" Purpose: 　As a higher education institution, universities have contributed to the development of human resources who will lead the future of the region. Yoon Gar, From the Perspective of Completion of Technology Lecturer: Professor Takahiro Kirihara******************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Advanced technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence), virtual currency, genome editing, and prenatal diagnosis are expected to change significantly in our lives. However, we do not know what and how much will change without certain criteria for determining change. It is clear from means of transportation, information equipment, home appliances, etc. that even though the lifestyle has changed completely due to the spread and penetration of technology and becoming a part of everyday life, the change is often not recognized. In this course, we will introduce a passage from the book "Completion of Technology" by German writer Friedrich Georg Yoongar, which was published shortly after World War II, and explore the perspective of understanding the changes that advanced technologies have on humans, society and nature.
