Nanako Ueki (3rd year Department of Economics) of the swimming club will participate in the 62nd National Public University Championships Swimming Competition. This is the third consecutive year that Ueki has participated in the tournament.
　Ueki broke through the national tournament standard record and obtained the right to participate in this national tournament through the 45th Chugoku-Shikoku National University Championship Swimming Competition. We reported participation in the national tournament to Chair and President, and a send-off party was held. In addition, he paid a courtesy call to Shimonoseki City Hall and talked about his aspirations for the national convention. Deputy Mayor Homma gave words of encouragement, saying, "I would like you to share the charm and splendor of Shimonoseki City through your activities at the national tournament and exchanges with other players."
