The Shorinji Kempo Club of Tohoku University will participate in the national competition held on October 27 and 28.
The Shorinji Kempo Club participated in the 46th Yamaguchi Prefecture Shorinji Kempo Tournament, which also serves as a screening for the national tournament held on June 3, 2018 (Sunday), and two students who achieved excellent results. Has won the right to participate in the "2018 Shorinji Kempo National Convention in Gunma".
The Shorinji Kempo Club is practicing under the guidance of the University OB. The department has participated in the national tournament for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016, and since the national tournament was not held last year, it will be the sixth consecutive national tournament this time.
At the send-off party held on campus, participants spoke to Chair and President about their willingness to participate in the national convention.
