Prof. Yukihiro Bando of Faculty of Data Science gave an invited lecture at the KIBME Fall conference held in Seoul, South Korea on November 21, 2024.

The lecture entitled “Advances in video coding: from standardization to functional extensions” introduced the latest trends in international standardization and expansion of video compression technologies.

The KIBME Fall conference is an academic conference organized by the Korean Institute of Broadcast and Media Engineers (KIBME), an academic conference that plays a leading role in research and development on cutting-edge technologies and applications in the broadcasting and media sectors in Korea.
