#Student supportWe held an alcohol harassment prevention workshop.
During the lunch break on September 30, 2016 (Friday), we held a seminar on understanding the dangers of alcohol and preventing alcohol harassment under the theme of "The effects of alcohol on the mind and body." 86 people, including representatives of circles and student groups, participated, with Kenichi Shinshiki, a mental health and welfare counselor at Shimonoseki Municipal Shimonoseki Public Health Center as a lecturer.
Students learned about the dangers of alcohol against minors and the prevention of alcohol harassment. Participants listened seriously to immediate useful stories, such as self-checks to prevent alcohol harassment and response to alcohol-related emergencies. In addition, I was able to deepen my understanding of the sad accidents of university students due to acute alcohol poisoning that occurred nationwide in the past, and the importance of proper drinking based on commercials and promotion videos of talent. Participants are to bring back the learned content to each circle and share it.
