On November 25, 2018, the 65th Kitakyusyu Shimonoseki District University Athletic Meet (Autumn) Karate Competition Club was held at Shimonoseki Budokan, Yamaguchi Prefectural Shimonoseki Budokan.
On the day of the event, four boys and five girls participated from the Karatedo Club of Kobe University. In addition, members other than the players also played a role in setting up the venue and proceeding, and all of them worked together to run the tournament.
Yusui Okada, a first-year student in Department of Public Management, was ranked first in the women's personal event. Mr. Okada is the second consecutive victory following the spring tournament held in June.
The Karatedo Club, which has also participated in the national competition this year, is expected to play an even more active role in the future.
