At 13:30 on June 20, 2019, a ceremony was held at the large conference room on the 5th floor of Building II, and the title of Professor Emeritus was awarded to former professors Shinichi Sakuragi, former professors Hidetsugu Hamada and former professors Hiroshi Yokoyama, who retired on March 31, 2019. Prof. Sakuragi and Prof. Hamada were absent due to circumstances.

　It is an honor for President to be awarded the title of Professor Emeritus to three professors. Since I have been involved in research and education for a long time, I have nurtured many students. He said that he would like to see further achievements in the future and set a model for us.

　In addition, Professor Emeritus Yokoyama, who attended, has been freed from 40 years of teaching life, and has a very easy life. From now on, there was a statement that he would continue his research at will.
