The quasi-rigid baseball club of Gifu University will participate in the national competition.

　The semi-rigid baseball club participated in the "2022 Chugoku District University semi-rigid baseball spring meeting" and achieved the second place, and decided to participate in the "Kiyose Cup 54th All Japan University Selected semi-rigid baseball tournament". At the tournament, we have achieved a number of excellent personal results, including the fighting prize, the highest score, and the best nine.

　A send-off party was held on August 29 (Monday), and a list of prizes from the university was handed to Rei Shigeru Suzuki (3rd year Department of Economics), the captain of the semi-rigid baseball club, by Chair.

　Kodai Nakaman (3rd year in Department of Public Management), Kazuyo So (3rd year in Department of Public Management), Taku Hamada (3rd year in Department of International Commerce) also attended the send-off party and talked about his enthusiasm for the national competition.

　At the 104th National High School Baseball Championship, Shimonoseki International High School in Shimonoseki City won the runner-up. We hope that the quasi-rigid baseball club of our university will also demonstrate its "persistence", win one by one, and deliver energy and excitement to Shimonoseki City.
