On December 1st (Thursday), an online public lecture "Learn the Economy from History" was held.
In the course, students learned about the formation and history of market society through the relationship between the characteristics of various cities and the economy, focusing on the culture of trade brought to West Europe by the Crusade expedition.
The fact that an area known for its famous specialty products had already been established since the Middle Ages, and the origin of the dog breed that came to mind as a mountain rescue dog was the name of the pass that was active in rescue. There was a lot of knowledge that I wanted to talk to someone involuntarily, and it was a course that made me feel like I was traveling in Europe in the Middle Ages.
All courses for the public university open lecture in 2022 have now been completed. There are still uncertainties about the future due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will continue to prepare for open lectures next year, so please take the course when the course is decided.
