On March 25, 2024, the completion ceremony of the Faculty of Data Science Building (Lecture Block D), which was completed with the establishment of an undergraduate school, was co-hosted by Shimonoseki City University.
At the ceremony, after greetings from Mayor Maedashimo Seki and President Yamamura, the chairman of the Kagawa Shimonoseki City Council, gave a congratulatory address.

In April, the first undergraduate students will be enrolled and spend much of their lectures and research in this new school building.
