On March 25, 2024, the completion ceremony of the Faculty of Data Science Building (Lecture Block D) was held at Shimonoseki City Univ. campus in collaboration with Shimonoseki City.
At the ceremony, after greetings from Mayor Maedashimo and President Yamamura, President of the corporation, there was a congratulatory address from the chairman of the Kagawa Shimonoseki City Council.

In April, the first undergraduate students will enter and spend much of their lectures and research in this new school building.
