On March 2, 2025, the completion ceremony of the Faculty of Nursing Building (N Building) was co-hosted with Shimonoseki City.
At the ceremony, after greetings from Mayor Maedashimo and Mr. Miki, President of the Corporation, congratulations were received from Chairman Hayashi Shimonoseki City Council on behalf of the guests.
In April, the first undergraduate students will enter the school and spend much of their lectures, practical training, and research in this new school building.

Following the completion ceremony, a lecture and a preview were held to commemorate the opening of Shimonoseki City University Faculty of Nursing.

For the commemorative lecture, we invited Dr. Mitsuko Ushikubo, a professor at the Graduate School of Health Sciences, Gunma University, and entitled "Training nursing human resources who can understand the area and can be done in the community-complete nursing mind-" We had a commemorative lecture.
Approximately 70 people participated, and everyone listened to the lecture very enthusiastically. After the lecture, a question-and-answer session was held, and the understanding of the theme was deepened.

At the preview, they were divided into multiple groups, and faculty members guided each room from the 1st floor to the 4th floor while explaining.
In addition to the lecture room, many people were able to see the educational and research environment that Faculty of Nursing is proud of, such as a bright and open lounge, nursing training room with a large number of high-performance simulators, and Skillslab.
