On March 2, 2025, the completion ceremony of the Faculty of Nursing Building (N Building), which was completed with the establishment of the Faculty, was co-hosted with Shimonoseki City.
At the ceremony, after greetings from Mayor Maedashimo Seki and Chairman Miki, we received congratulations from Chairman Hayashi Shimonoseki City Council on behalf of the guests.
In April, first-year undergraduate students will enter the school and spend much of their lectures, practical training and research in this new school building.

Following the completion ceremony, a commemorative lecture and preview of the opening of the Faculty of Nursing of Shimonoseki City University was held.

For the commemorative lecture, we invited Professor Mitsuko Ushikubo, a professor at Gunma University Graduate School of Health Sciences, entitled "Training nursing human resources who can understand the region and do it in the community required by the times-community-complete nursing mind-" We had a commemorative lecture.
Approximately 70 people participated, and everyone was listening to the lecture very enthusiastically. After the lecture, a question-and-answer session was held to deepen the understanding of the theme.

■Preview
At the preview, they were divided into multiple groups, and faculty and staff guided them while explaining each room from the first floor to the fourth floor.
In addition to the lecture room, many people were able to see the educational and research environment that Faculty of Nursing is proud of, including a bright and open lounge, a nursing training room with many high-performance simulators, and a skill slab.
