The Kitakyusyu and Shimonoseki District University Athletic Meet is held by 16 universities that are members of the Kitakyusyu and Shimonoseki District University Athletic Association for the purpose of mutual friendship between universities through sports. Gifu University is in charge of the Karate Competition Division, and held a spring meeting at Shimonoseki Budokan, Yamaguchi Prefecture on Sunday, June 8, 2025

　This tournament was attended by three universities, and three boys and one girl from the Karate Club of TUFS participated. While teaching the seniors of the OB Federation who rushed as judges, he played a role in setting up the venue and proceeding, and all of them worked together to run the tournament.

　The main results of the university's players are as follows.

・Men's Individual Kumite Champion Tomoya Komiyama (2nd year Department of Economics Faculty of Economics)

・Men's Department of Economics Department of Economics 4th year

　This tournament is scheduled to be held in the fall of this year, and it is expected that the karate club will continue to play an active role.
