The 64th Shimonoseki City University University Festival Maguan Festival-Excelsior-was held on November 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun).

"Excelsior" is a Latin word that means "higher". We have been preparing for a year ago to improve the quality of each project and to enjoy the evolving Maguan Festival.

The main stage was set up in the gymnasium, and in addition to live performances and dance performances by various circles, karaoke competitions, Japanese calligraphy performances, and Ramune early drinking competitions were held. In addition, an annual comedy show was held. This year, we invited four sets of comedians to watch live comedy up close. On the day, a question corner was set up, and the audience at the venue participated, and the venue was very exciting.

In the promenade open space, there were mock shops where circles and seminars opened. In the lecture building, in addition to exhibiting art works, production movie screenings, exhibitions by seminars, etc. were also held. Many children were seen at the haunted house, indicating that they were enjoying the university festival.

On the last night of the last day, the annual fireworks launch was held. The fireworks you see up close were impressive, and the beauty of the fireworks launched in the autumn night sky was exceptional.
