Circle "Japan Heritage Exploration Q Meeting" conducted the third fieldwork survey on Rokuren Island

 On June 3, 2018 (Sunday), 11 members of the Japan Heritage Exploration Q Society and one faculty member of TUFS conducted a third fieldwork survey on the Roku Islands, where one of the cultural properties of the Japanese heritage "Kanmon" Nostalgic Straits" in Shimonoseki City and Kitakyushu City.

 In the first half of the survey, this time, contrary to the previous survey on May 20 of the previous survey, we investigated the characteristics and resources of the area while walking around Shimauchi for about 3 hours, so while walking on almost the same course, there was a new discovery I was able to see local resources from a different perspective. In addition, we visited and visited the house of a farmer who grows gerbera. In the latter half of the survey, six women's associations in the Rokure Islands talked about the local resources of the Rokure Islands and the current situation and issues of community development, and exchanged opinions. The students were overwhelmed by the stories of active and energetic women, but they were able to gain a lot of knowledge. On the way home, we had cut flowers such as gerbera, safflower and sunflowers as souvenirs. Thank you very much.
