#Regional co-creationShimonoseki Whale Summer School was held.
On July 28 (Saturday), Shimonoseki Whale Summer School was held at the I-201 classroom of the main building of the university. First of all, Mr. So Ishikawa, Director of the Shimonoseki Whale Research Office, talked about "What kind of creatures are whales?" Next, Mr. Mitsuhiro Kishimoto, a commissioned researcher at TUFS, spoke about the history of Shimonoseki and whales.
After the talk, we toured the library in Building II of the main building of the university and toured the skulls of whales displayed on the first floor of Library and Study Center Building. Elementary school students who participated learned a lot about "Whale". I hope it will be helpful for free research. A similar course will be held on Saturday, August 11 (application has been closed).
The Regional Co-creation Center plans to plan and implement various courses in the future. If you are interested, please join us.
