#Seminar activities

I have participated in the joint seminar at the University of Nagasaki.

On December 22nd (Sun), Nagahama Seminar participated in the "8th University of Nagasaki Sasebo Joint Seminar Report". 18 teams from 10 seminars participated, and it was a large-scale debriefing session with more than 100 participants. Each team has a 25-minute report, a 10-minute question, and it is a relatively long report, so it is necessary to devise ways to keep the audience bored. At the Nagahama seminar, we reported on the comparison between Japan and the UK and changes in the way dogs should be in society, entitled "History of the Relationship between humans and dogs: Focusing on Liminality." There were scenes where questions and answers were held beyond the scheduled time, and it was a lively debriefing session. As a result of the peer review, Nagahama Seminar received the Best Report Award with the highest score, and was awarded by Tatsuyuki Tsuna, Dean of the Faculty of Regional Creation at the University of Nagasaki.

On the 23rd (Monday), Nishikyushu is a porcelain production area, so we took a walk in Mikawachi (Nagasaki Prefecture), Arita Town (Saga Prefecture), and Hasami Town (Nagasaki Prefecture). At the Utsuwa History Museum in Mikawa, in addition to the history of Mikawa, he taught me how to manufacture porcelain and the characteristics of the three regions. In Arida, we visited China on the Park and had a painting experience. After that, we visited several Hasami ware dealers, which are popular among young people in recent years for Internet sales, etc., and actually observed what kind of ingenuity is being made. The students seemed to have noticed that there was a big difference in the way they show the products.

It was a very fulfilling off-campus training. I would like to thank all the members of Nagasaki Prefectural University and everyone in each region. In preparing this research report, we received many suggestions from tours and questions at the Kitakyushu City Animal Protection Center. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again.
