I participated in a joint seminar at the University of Nagasaki

On December 22 (Sun), Nagahama Seminar participated in the 8th University of Nagasaki Sasebo Campus Joint Seminar Report Meeting. 18 teams from 10 seminars participated, and it was a large-scale briefing session with more than 100 people. Each team has a 25-minute report and a 10-minute question, so it is a relatively long report, so it is necessary to devise ways not to get tired of the audience. At Nagahama seminar, entitled "History of Relationship between Humans and Dogs-Focusing on Liminality-", we reported a comparison between Japanese and English and changes in the way dogs should be in society. There were also scenes where questions were held beyond the scheduled time, and it was a lively briefing session. As a result of the peer review, Nagahama Seminar received the best report award with the highest score, and was awarded by Tatsuyuki Tsuna, Dean of Regional Creation at the University of Nagasaki.

On the following day, on the 23rd (Monday), we took a walk around Mikawauchi (Nagasaki Prefecture), Arita Town (Saga Prefecture), and Hasami Town (Nagasaki Prefecture) because Nishikyushu is a porcelain production area. At the Utsuwa History Museum in Mikawa, in addition to the history of Mikawa, he taught me how to manufacture porcelain and the characteristics of the three regions. In Arida, we visited China on the Park and had a painting experience. After that, we visited several Hasami ware stores, which are popular among young people in recent years for Internet sales, etc., and actually observed what kind of ingenuity was being made. The students seem to have noticed that there is a big difference in the way they show products.

It was a very fulfilling off-campus training program. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone in the Univ. of Nagasaki and the local community. In preparing this research report, many suggestions were received from tours and questions at the Kitakyushu Animal Protection Center. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again.
