[Important] For students about academic affairs schedule, course registration, and admission to campus

Students will be notified as follows according to the decisions made by the “Public University Corporation Shimonoseki City University Crisis Response Headquarters”.

<April 16 Updated content >
[Important] To the students
Academic schedule, course registration, and admission to the campus

The following contents announced on April 10 have been partially changed due to the availability of course registration from outside the university. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but thank you for your confirmation again.

1.About academic affairs schedule

Classes will begin on May 11 (Monday).

Classes will begin on May 18 (Monday). Also, from Monday, May 11 to May 15 (Fri), the trial period for taking remote classes will be held, so please make various preparations. (Details of preparations to be carried out during the trial period will be announced separately.)

2.About course registration

The course registration period is from Tuesday, April 21 to May 1 (Friday).
The date and time and method of course registration vary depending on the grade.

We have made it possible to register from outside the university on a trial basis instead of using the computer training room (conventional method), so please log in to the "Campusmate-J" site by yourself. As a result, the course registration period will be from Thursday, May 7 to May 13 (Wed).

3.About class method

In principle, all classes to be held in the spring semester of 2020 will be remote.
Information on how to remote guidance will be provided separately.

4.(For new first-year students) Placement Test

The placement test scheduled for Tuesday, April 14 will be cancelled.
Due to the cancellation, alternative tests will be conducted for some students.

5.Access to on-campus facilities

Except for procedures that require registration of courses and contact with the counter (those with deadlines for scholarships, etc.), entry into the campus is prohibited, whether indoors or outdoors.
