Do you know the Federated States of Micronesia, which consists of small islands in the Pacific Ocean?
How many islands are there in a range of about 3,000 km east-west? Isn't it more and more interesting to imagine industry, language, culture and customs, and relationship with Japan?

Mr. Junpei Yonemura (JICA Kyushu), who was dispatched to the Federated States of Micronesia as a member of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer and was working on arithmetic at an elementary school, was invited as a lecturer to talk about the Federated States of Micronesia. Mr. Yonemura himself will give a lecture with his unique and active background.
