"Let's know the essence of Japanese culture! This program has been held since FY 2008 with the aim of encouraging all students, including international students, to gain an understanding of Japanese culture.
In the first session of FY2020, Kensuke Wada, the owner of Kappo cuisine Ryokan Toshimi Rei, who has been in business for the 78th year, talked about the hospitality of Toshimi Rei Ryokan, which has been operating while continuing to look at the history of Shimonoseki, what is hospitality, what is the difference between hotels and inns, and what kind of customers are good for the inn, etc.
Although it was held online, it was a viewer participation-type lecture that progressed while participants and speakers interacted with each other. Those who are currently living in Germany and Ireland were also able to participate in a friendly lecture with a sense of distance as if they were next to them.
Let's know the essence of Japanese culture next time! We are preparing for the event in November. We will have a fun meeting, so please join us.
